Eating as an activity creates so many different impacts on our lives, societies, communities, and our environment. As a citizen of the world, it is our responsibility to minimize the impacts from how to what we eat. They will discuss the food system including farming, harvesting and dishing as well as their distribution. They will also explore environmental cooking, how waste occurs throughout the food chain and how not creating waste is the best waste management.
