Serpentine Walkway

The Serpentine Walkway is a bridge that connects the festival grounds through the forest and over waterways - a transitional element that leads Wonderers from lively, energy-filled areas to a tranquil space. When the sun is shining, Wonderers can explore the forest, seeking refuge in the overhanging shade. After dusk, the structure will be lit from below creating a floating path between the two lands. From the minds of Bangkok-based design team Mpdstudio, the walkway is paved using bricks made from local clay, lined with egg-shaped railings and sheltered by a roof made from thin clusters of bamboo.
