Who’s in for Intermission 2017

7 Aug 2017 | By Wonderfruit

Intermission is back with another chance for unsigned artists to perform on our main stage.

In the summer of 2015, we teamed up with legendary producer Howie B to create a program that would provide development and an opportunity to up-and-coming unsigned talent. For the past two years now, Howie has worked with a selection of live bands and music acts, fine-tuning their performances during the two weeks leading up to Wonderfruit. When it comes to showtime, we put them on the main stage, where they perform between international headliners. Here’s Howie to talk you through the process:

This year, we’re delighted to announce the artists selected for Intermission 2017.

Based in Bangkok, Yensuk is an Indian-influenced modern rock six-piece.

And, always searching for and experimenting with new sounds created by different acoustic instruments from across the globe, Yaan is a supergroup comprised of various local musicians.

We’re so excited to hear what both bands come up with. Catch them on Living stage in December.
