Design in the Mind by Ab Rogers

In this lecture, Ab Rogers will ask how design can trigger the mind to best engage with the architecture of co-living – how architecture can best respond to the reflective singular, the engaged collective, the sleeping cohort, the sensorial experience and how it can create joy.

In the first part of the lecture, we will experience a high-paced kaleidoscopic story that looks for some essential components in his own research and practice, in the natural habitat, in art and other designs, identifying the core ingredients needed to create a meaningful co-living space. In the second part, we will explore Ab Rogers’s healing environments and the principles informing them: the Third Carer, the Living System and the Biopsychosocial Model.
