MSCTY_Studio is developing a new design that reimagines the 2020 soundtrack as a more multi-sensory experience. Set on a grassy hill at the edge nearby a lake, a thatched bamboo shack brings to life sounds of air in motion and matters moving in space from different surroundings; modified from the original Aeropendulum, an air element sound installation produced in 2020. This year’s air concept taps into themes such as the universality of and healing quality of sound, feeling its textures through hearing—a simple calming listening space in nature, away from the bustles of festival settings.
