Henrik Schwarz is a German crossover producer and DJ whose career began in the early 1990s. He has long been a different kind of electronic artist, not fitting the mold of what you would expect from someone who has dedicated much of their career to house and techno. But with his recent Schwarzmann project, he has pushed the boundaries more than ever before, arguably redefining what it means for an electronic artist to perform 'live'. With roots grounded in experimentation, he melds influences like acid house, EBM and industrial into his analog-driven productions, embracing the 4/4 structure as a bridge to uncharted realms.
