House of the Unholy is a one-of-a-kind short film that has won over 45 film festival awards around the world in 2022. The film was created by Los Angeles/Tokyo-based creative director, polymath and all-around renaissance man Daniel Merlot.

The film is a genre-bending mix of sci-fi, fantasy and live-action interweaved with anime sequences. It was filmed in the jungles of Thailand pre-pandemic and is a prologue introduction to an upcoming episodic series.

Drawing influence from Alejandro Jodorowsky, Federico Fellini, Salvador Dalí, Daft Punk, Dune and Asian culture, House Of The Unholy is a surreal cinematic experience that is both hauntingly beautiful and chillingly bizarre.
