Lotta Petronella, a filmmaker, artist and curator based in Finland, has created a special hand-painted tarot card set inspired by the botanical world and creatures she encountered around the Wonderfruit natural site. For her oracle readings, she will mix the new set with two existing hand-made sets: one is a collection of night butterflies and the other one is a collection of medicinal herbs, native to two different Finnish islands.

During the reading she will ask for the moths, herbs, islands and night to guide us. A personally created ritual will be shared with the participant to continue dreaming, also using a small apothecary with essences, ashes, hydrosols and tinctures. With Lotta, the Oracle Den will become a space to tune into and be guided by islands, healing herbs and night butterflies.

Night butterflies have been witnessed on earth for over 200 million years, which makes them older than the flowers. Their short lifespan and sensitivity to environmental variations make them indicator species for climate change. In Greek, psyche means both butterfly, soul and a breath. Butterflies transport the souls of the dead to the other side.
