Jicara Offering: An Ongoing Ritual by Colectivo Amasijo
Inspired by The Offering, the cycle of abundance we learn from nature's dynamics, Colectivo Amasijo creates a ritual that enhances the relationship between and among ourselves and nature. The ritual is a rite of passage that reactivates what has been fragmented. It allows us the time to observe, play and share knowledge, which we need to prepare ourselves for a new way of living together as a whole nature. The jicara teaches us to consider ourselves as interdependent creatures that inhabit this world, connected with everything else.
