Look to the sky to witness two well-known kites in Thailand, the Chula Kite, also known as the star shape kite, and the Puk Pao Kite. Professional kiting masters will be flying in The Fields, up high in the daylight hours and illuminated at night. The Thai Kite Sports Association aims to promote and preserve the traditional Thai art and culture of kiting, which is considered part of the national identity. They aim to do this by supporting, encouraging, and continuing kiting as a sport among Thai people, and striving to keep the tradition alive.
