In the post-World War II era, Soontharapirom emerged in Thailand, a Molam ensemble shaped by Mr. Sunthorn Abhisuntharangkun and Ms. Kumpoon Fungsuk in 1956. Famed for their Molam and Mokan fusion, their radio performances captivated audiences. With over 100 members initially, they pioneered the 'molamkhean' style, using khean and vocals in enigmatic pairs. From weddings to annual festivities, they graced diverse events.

Today, now with 20-30 members, Soontharapirom persists with their molamkhean style, embracing the pin and drums. Wonderfruit 2023 marks its humble debut at the Molam Village, continuing its timeless journey in the rich tapestry of Thai musical heritage.
