Nick The Record has been a key proponent in the underground music scene for the past 25 years, performing unmissable DJ sets, releasing records and selling rare vinyl to the stars. While his DJ career initially took off in Japan, Nick has spent recent years spreading his music closer to home. His performances are a firm fixture in London’s musical calendar, with Nick running Tangent, a regular party with John Gomez, in which the two selectors dig deep into their collections, playing everything from Afro-Disco and sun-kissed tropical rarities to soul and electronic gems. Nick is also a resident at one of the capital’s most prestigious venues, The Jazz Cafe, where he performs monthly at their ever-popular Saturday club night, Soul City.
