Pocari Sweaty
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Pocari Sweaty discovered his love of dance music as a university student exploring Montreal’s party scene and record stores. Since moving to Taipei in 2019, he has established himself as a well-hydrated DJ whose selections are deep and euphoric, ranging across various styles of house, disco, and techno. In Taipei, he’s a regular face at Pawnshop, a resident of Grey Area’s Ho Soul Zai crew and the past few months have seen him play at Organik Festival, Smoke Machine’s 13th anniversary party and Yoshi Nori’s 禁 Jin Records Label Night.
