Bio

Samantha Nicole can be defined as a true homegrown talent, tracing her roots to Today x Future, a Philippine alt nightlife institution that shaped her musical taste and talent after being exposed to multi-faceted music. Her sound flows between house, leftfield, techno, electro, acid and breaks, but her occasional cuts and surprising transitions make her one of the most respected and sought-after DJs in the scene.

Samantha is also a driving force in the local electronic scene, being a co-founder of UNKNWN—a collective pushing for a community-driven music experience in the country that has since organized numerous global-inspired events. She also functions as a director for Manila Community Radio, a not-for-profit and independent radio platform driven to bring Filipino music and talent into global frequencies, as well as the co-founder and music and programming director of Futur:st, a subculture space that champions independent, non-commercial and homegrown creatives in music, arts, and fashion. She’s also lent her writing to Mixmag Asia, a regional music publication, where she is a resident contributor.

More recently, she co-founded BUST, a queer and women-led collective set to champion more women and LGBTQIA+ creatives across industries. She also represented the Philippines as its delegate for UK’s The Great Escape Music Festival and Conference 2022 in Brighton, United Kingdom.
