Space Afrika are a duo of musicians—Joshua Inyang and Joshua Reid—who both hail from Manchester; the latter is based in Berlin. The pair make music that they describe as "overlapping moments". Expect oblique mosaics of dialogue, rhythm, texture and shadow, half-heard through a bus window on a rainy night. Their releases are sparse, spacious yet intimate electronic abstractions, partly inspired by their observations of industrial landscapes and experiences of life in the North of England. Their journey resonates globally, bridging diverse sounds and spaces.
