The Five Elements Sound Experience by Santiago Nieto
During the five elements sound experience, a space of connection with sound is created through listening and feeling the qualities and vibration of ancient and modern instruments like chimes, bowls, flutes, bells, strings, drums, and rattles. Enjoy a full interactive exercise with therapeutic music instruments, which includes sensing, touching and playing them. Expect to move around, create sound and communicate it to others for a small orchestral creation. Wonderers will also get through a sonic meditation facing gratitude to sound, music, and our listening capacities.
This 1.5-hour session will also acknowledge the relationship of sound with the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space, immersing participants in the art of discovering, playing and perceiving basic musical instruments and their connection to our nature. Finally, guests will actively listen to the wonders of vibrational sound, opening our hearing sense to what surrounds us.
The experience includes full interaction with sound, music, awareness and creativity.
Get your ears ready. Let’s listen.
Led by Santiago Nieto, the musician turned wellness facilitator is passionate about practicing sound therapy from different perspectives. His activities include individual treatments, workshop and course coordination, and sound educational project management. Having taken western classical music education at an early age focused on piano playing, and having performed as a DJ since the mid-90s, his devotion to the transcendental path of sound and music led him to research different traditions worldwide and deeply study this field at Svaram Sound Experience, a centre for sound research located in Tamil Nadu (India), where he had the opportunity to collaborate and study deeply the vibrational part of Yoga.
