Wonder Latin Power
Wonder Latin Power combines the culinary powerhouses of Spanish, Mexican and Peruvian gastronomy. While relatively new to Asia, these cuisines are expanding fast thanks to the introduction of bold new cooking methods and the titillating flavours they produce. At the same time, there is an incredible amount of history in the products and techniques from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean: the Spanish brought garlic, onions, beef, pork and spices to America, and upon their return, brought chilies, chocolate, potatoes, corn and tomatoes from Peru and Mexico to Europe. As a result, Europe and America have changed their eating, musical and cultural habits…for the better. This Wonder Feast will explore that change by joining the kitchens of Chef Daniel and Chef Tamara Chavez from Canchita Peruvian Cuisine in Singapore, Chef Willy Trullàs Moreno from el Willy Happy Spanish Kitchen in Bangkok and Chef Andre Severino from Nómada.
