Part of the OK artistic series created by visual artist Navin Rawanchaikul and his team at studiOK, Wonder OK is their latest project specially realised for Wonderfruit Festival. Featuring the collaboration of a host of talented individuals from across the creative arts, a short musical film relates the story of Navin’s strange odyssey with the mysterious Wonderfruit box to a soundtrack of new tunes created in collaboration with Chiang Mai-based solo artist Jui Juis, the popular Suthep Band and indie-folk fusion specialists Junlaholaan from Sakon Nakorn. The unique composition also includes special guest artist Sombat Simla, aka “The God of Khene”, playing beautiful melodies that perfectly marry the traditional and the contemporary within the recording. The Wonder OK music video will be released at Wonderfruit 2022 with a live concert performed by the artist and his collaborators.

An extension of the Wonder OK short musical film created to showcase the artist’s journey with the mysterious Wonderfruit box, Navin Rawanchaikul and his studiOK release a series of new tunes specially created for Wonderfruit 2022. The live concert will also cover the artist’s exploration of music creation in his longstanding OK World. During the hour-long show, Chiang Mai-based music collaborators Suthep Band and Jui Juis will also perform their own tunes. The finale will be a jam session featuring Isaan-based Junlaholaan Band and special guest artist “The God of Khene.
