Objekt is TJ Hertz, an innovative producer and DJ. Born in Tokyo to British-American and Filipino parents, Hertz grew up in Belgium and the UK before settling in Berlin in 2009. Known for his head-turning club records and highly inventive electronic music, Hertz’s music started in the post-dubstep bass music scene in 2011. While his style has grown into precise and highly technical mixing, his sets are unpredictable, drawing directly from spontaneity and crowd energy.
