This vibrant rubber mixed-media installation celebrates life’s cycles and journeys, inspired by the playful form of fruit that spreads seeds in Thailand’s tropical forests. Rubber, a natural material widely grown in Southeast Asia, is hand-processed and colored like abstract paintings, symbolizing the self-healing and reproductive qualities shared by humans and rubber trees.
Created by The Rubber PARAdoxii, a Nakhon Si Thammarat duo, in collaboration with painter James Wisit, this work pushes the boundaries of rubber’s artistic potential.
