Sound of Jing & Kanho Yakushiji

Sound of Jing is the melding of guzheng master and soloist at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Chang Jing, and flutist Zhang Di, trained by China’s foremost masters. Blending Chinese tradition with modern imagination, they create poetic soundscapes. They are joined by Kanho Yakushiji, the “music monk” and 16th Vice Abbot of Kaizen Temple of Kaizen Temple in Japan, whose sold-out tours across Asia and Australia have made him one of the most recognized voices in contemporary Asian music.
