A lakeside house with elevated dining, wine and music attuned to a slower style of wonder
Part of the Wonderfruit collaboration with experiential hospitality collective Slowness, Jungle House is a relaxed space for all Wonderers to come together around food and drink, music and well-being. Carefully calibrated and yet wild in spirit, the menu tantalizes and provokes the senses with Thai-inflected Mediterranean cuisine.
Designed by Ab Rogers in homage to vernacular architecture of the Thai countryside, Jungle House is perched above the beach for lakeside dining, gently transforming a peaceful plot of land into a space that celebrates a slower style of wonder. Lazing on a sun lounger or enjoying drinks with friends.
Carefully calibrated yet wild in spirit, the food experience at Jungle House tantalizes and provokes the senses with a simple, local and delicious Thai-inflected Mediterranean BBQ style
A collaboration with Appia presents a departure from the Bangkok restaurant’s usual rustic Roman cuisine, where the Italian-born head chef and owner, Paolo Vitaletti, showcases his uncompromising approach to quality and provenance of ingredients. The son of a butcher, he grew up with hearty home cooking and carried this into his work.
With a shared philosophy rooted in impeccable service in a welcoming atmosphere, our partnership with Vitaletti feels natural at Slow Wonder. Indulge in a locally sourced, all-day menu featuring grilled delights like sardines, crudo, mackerel and quail, alongside regional classics such as panzanella, artichokes alla Romana, razor clams and zucchini flowers.
Right on the beach, next to the Jungle House, the beach bar gently transforms a peaceful plot of land into a space that celebrates a slower style of wonder—perfect for lazing on a sun lounger or enjoying drinks with friends. Open from noon till late, discover a small snack menu serving grilled baby squid, charred eggplant and more small bites.
