Ziggurat 2023 is a response to Wonderers’ requests for more space to relax and connect with each other in The Fields. Our long-standing relationship with Singha sees this beloved venue come back to life as part of our continuous evolution towards being a cultural platform where the connection between mind and nature is explored.
And something about an al fresco beer space sets the stage for connection and exploration; it’s the kind of place where you start as strangers and leave as friends. Singha builds upon its chilled-out concept for beer enthusiasts within a new, larger space in the Fields. Featuring an all-new design that embraces refined vernacular architecture created using upcycled materials, kick back at Ziggurat in a laid-back and atmospheric space dedicated to cold drinks, live music and good vibes.
This year, the venue takes on a 90s theme to celebrate Singha’s 90th anniversary and welcomes touchpoints representing the eras of revolutions and connections with Thai drinkers: 1934, 1957, 1990 and 2018. The complementary music programme draws upon the success of live bands at Wonderfruit, where—with the new friends you just met—you might find yourselves on the dance floor and singing along to irresistible live music to the tune of 90s Thai artists and cover bands.
There are two main bars this year where Wonderers can sip on an ice cold Singha, a shandy (beer with Singha Lemon Soda) or another Singha-inspired libation like a cold one from their slushie machine. A cocktail bar will be serving up inventive libations made with Singha Lemon Soda and more. While you’re there, take part in a cocktail-making workshop and don’t miss the nearby photo booth so you can mark the occasion with a memory.
The ultimate Singha experience, elevated by a Wonderfruit style; drop by to sit, chill and bask in the good vibes—with a drink in hand.
