Single-use cups contribute to a huge amount of waste. Yes, even those compostable and biodegradable ones generate waste. Even though we used environmentally friendly cups for many years, the most popular item that ended up in our waste was cups. Single-use cups. So in 2019, we made a bold decision: no single-use cups at Wonderfruit. And this carries into this year as well: you’ll need to bring your own (or buy one from us). And every year, we release a new collection with cups made from new materials and new colourways inspired by elements in The Fields.

NO CUP, NO SERVICE

 

 

If you don’t have a reusable cup, you won’t be able to order a drink. That’s the simple version. We’ve put much thought into how this works, and we’ve made refill life as easy as we can. We also did this in 2019 and are proud of its success. In fact, just 42.3% of attendees purchased a cup from Wonderfruit, meaning that more than half of the audience brought their own cup to Wonderfruit, and nobody felt inconvenienced at all.

 

BRING YOUR OWN CUP, OR BUY ONE FROM US (AND SAVE ON DRINKS)

 

 

Any 16-ounce (pint) cup that is made for reuse is welcome at Wonderfruit: stainless steel, enamel, recycled plastic—there are some stylish options available out there and we encourage you to get creative, even match it to your outfit. But please, no glass. If your cup is bigger than 16 ounces (473ml), bring it anyway. The vendors and bartenders will just leave a little room at the top.

Meet our range of Wonder Cups ready to slake your thirst in The Fields. Each is a 16-ounce, refillable, portable, stylish vessel made from either stainless steel, rice husk or—our newest addition to the family—coconut husk. The 2022 collection came in four colourways: Ancestral Green, Living Blue, Solar Orange and Sonic Dune. 2023 will welcome a new colourway…and a new design. Each colour is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
