Wondefruit lives in a tropical country—sometimes the skies will give us a surprise shower, regardless of the season.

While you won’t melt in the rain, we understand that you might not want to spend too long out in it. Wonderfruit is an outdoor event, but there’s also plenty of places to go and wait for the rain to pass.

Use the list below to find out where to go:

  • Open Kitchen: Two floors of full coverage and several meals cooked by mums and aunties to warm you back up.

  • Neramit: This 24-hour lounge has music, food and drinks under a solid roof with plenty of seating for everyone.

  • Jungle House: Get cozy and stay dry from the rain while sipping on a cocktail.

  • Info Tent: Find inspiration for where to go next.

  • Unconditional Space: Have a seat, take a break and watch one of the screenings, talks or rituals. Just try and avoid the jellyfish cloth screens—those won’t shield you from the rain.

  • Wonderness: In the lower fields, this village has some small nooks that will offer a bit of shelter. Look for the Thai Massage Corner, Tok Sen, the Water Zone, Earth Round and the Medicinal Plant Village, however there might be workshops already happening there.

  • Molam World with Amazing Thailand: You can hide in the Molam Bus or find some coverage at Sala Bar.

  • Ziggurat with Singha: Relax with a refreshing drink within the shady spots of this beer garden.

In heavy rain, some venues may close for Wonderers’ safety and comfort. This may then result in changes in programming—keep an eye on the Wonder App for the latest updates.

If you’re staying in The Fields:

  • Slow Wonder guests have plenty of shaded verandah space in your cabins to watch the rain from.

  • For Boutique Campers, you can wait out the rain in your tents or at the Boutique Camping bar and restaurant.

  • General Campers can also wait out the rain in their tents. It’s also a good idea to always keep your rain fly on your tent and secured with rope and tent stakes.
