Stepping into Theatre of Eats, the reimagined Theatre of Feasts, is a journey into the heart of Thailand’s culinary artistry, becoming the culinary epicenter of Molam World. The new venue beautifully intertwines the lively spirit of a night market with the timeless charm of a floating market, reflecting the essence of Thailand’s diverse foodscape.
Accommodating up to 130 guests, it features diverse food vendors, each bringing their best dishes to the table, along with a specialty bar focused on Thai spirits and ingredients.
A dedicated vendor will exclusively serve Tom Yum Kung, the iconic hot and sour lemongrass soup currently being proposed for UNESCO’s World Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This dish is a bold celebration of Thai culinary tradition, offering an authentic taste of a global treasure in the making.
Open from lunchtime until the end of the music programming at Molam Bus, this venue invites Wonderers to immerse themselves in the tastes, sights and sounds of Thai culture.

Funky Lam

Funky Lam Kitchen, a Laotian restaurant in Thong Lor, Bangkok, became popular among Southeast Asian cuisine enthusiasts. It offered a unique and fresh identity with dishes that claimed ownership of what was previously confused as “Thai” food. It established itself as a destination for delicious and authentic Laotian cuisine, highlighting the true roots and identity of Northern Thai or North-Eastern Thai dishes: Laos. The restaurant’s menu featured a rich plant-based foundation, sticky rice, spicy relishes, and elevated interpretations of classic grilled meats cooked “slow and low”. Additionally, Funky Lam explored specialties from neighboring countries like Vietnam and Myanmar. The cuisine celebrated the food of the riverbanks of the Mekong and the heritage of Laos.
Funky Lam is operating three booths at Theatre of Eats: one for grilled delights, another for fried foods and one dedicated to Som Tam.
Hot Coco' Pot

Hot Coco’ Pot brings a Thai hotpot experience to Wonderfruit with its unique coconut water and herb-infused broth. Inspired by Isaan cuisine and served in eco-friendly terracotta pots, their dishes are light, refreshing, and packed with natural goodness. Locally sourced ingredients and sustainable practices ensure a mindful, flavorful meal that connects tradition with innovation. Rooted in a love for authentic Thai cooking, Hot Coco’ Pot offers Wonderers a nourishing and memorable taste of Thailand.
Mitr Khao Jee

Mitr Khao Jee brings the authentic flavors of Northeast Thailand, serving traditional Khao Jee (grilled sticky rice) and Moo Yor (Thai pork ham) cooked over charcoal. Highlighting the culinary heritage of the region, they also offer Thai desserts like Krongkrang. With a focus on preserving traditional cooking methods, they share the rich cultural knowledge of Thai cuisine while supporting sustainable, community-driven food practices.

Ongtong Khaosoi brings authentic Northern Thai flavors to Wonderfruit with their signature Khao Soi, a rich curry with tender pork, crispy noodles, and freshly made egg noodles. Using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients from Chiang Mai, their dishes celebrate the region’s culinary heritage. With a commitment to sustainability and community support, Ongtong aims to expand globally, sharing its pride in Chiang Mai’s food culture. Praneat Seafood brings the flavors of Thailand’s coast to Wonderfruit 2024 with fresh, locally sourced seafood crafted into classic and creative dishes. Known for their meticulous attention to quality, they partner with local fishermen for daily catches. Expect highlights like spicy stir-fries, grilled prawns, and chili lime crab. Sustainability is at the heart of their process, ensuring ethical sourcing and community support.
