Your Thursday Highlights

Welcome to the first day of Wonderfruit 2024. 

Thursday is all about landing softly, getting to know the land and setting the tone for the journey ahead. 

Step into The Fields and start your journey with some of the highlights we’ve laid out below, but this is really just a shortlist. There is so much more to see and do. 

Before you come, don’t forget to download the Wonder App, add them to your schedule, and arrive in The Fields with a plan. 

12:00pm: Slow Wonder & Boutique Camping open

If you’re staying in Slow Wonder or Boutique Camping, start your Wonderfruit adventure a little sooner with an early check-in. You can settle in your accommodations and make new friends at the Generator Pavilion or Jungle House.

Just remember that you have a dedicated entrance, so do not go to the main entrance.

4:00pm: Gates open (and General Camping too!)

The gates open at 4:00pm, and wherever your journey begins, we’re ready to greet you. Before heading to The Fields, take a moment to explore our updated guide for essential information on getting here, including directions, shuttles, and parking options.

As you approach the main entrance, try to set an intention for your Wonderfruit journey this year, and let it guide you as you step into the art installation that frames your arrival.

4:30pm: Step into a new Forbidden Fruit 

On your way in, the sun will be setting and you’ll walk right past Forbidden Fruit‘s new home. Head to the lakeside venue for a festival-long celebration of Rainbow Disco Club’s 15th anniversary while kicking back on a gentle slope and taking in the view

5:00pm: Say hello to Indigo World

Philip Huang and friends return to The Fields. In this first of many Public Dyeing Workshops, open to beginners, you’ll experience a transformation using nature’s brilliant blue. 

5:30pm: See the sun start to set at Open Kitchen

Find a moment to pause and watch the sun dip below the horizon. Grab a seat on the second floor of Open Kitchen, now a sit-down restaurant, and grab some food and drinks at Life’s Market by Pa Chan. 

6:00pm: Take part in the opening ceremony at Wonderness 

Join the Opening Ceremony at Wonderness, a fan favorite. During this magical hour, we invite everyone to celebrate this beautiful moment right at the heart of the fields through various Sunset rituals and ceremonies.

7:00pm: Taste the flavors of Isaan of Theatre of Eats

Step into Theatre of Eats, the reimagined Theatre of Feasts, and go on a journey into the heart of Thailand’s culinary artistry. This evolved venue has become the culinary epicenter of Molam World.

8:00pm: Watch a unique AI-inspired show at Creature Stage 

Wayne McGregor, a groundbreaking choreographer from the UK, merges genetic code, AI and dance in his innovative work. He’ll be joined by Lin for a groundbreaking performance called Company Wayne McGregor – Autobiography (v104) at Creature Stage. 

8:15pm: It’s time for a sound experience at Polygon Live 

Polygon Live is hosting all kinds of new experiences this year. Don’t miss Visual System’s new SAMAN show, blending traditional Thai music with immersive art, creating a multisensory experience that transports audiences into a surreal forest of light, sound and nature.

9:00pm Hear sacred Nepali music at Dhyana

Experience the spirit-moving rhythms of traditional Nepali Kirtan, where devotional call-and-response chants and melodies unite in a powerful expression of spirituality.

11:30pm: Catch Cobblestone Jazz at The Quarry

This unique trio creates pared-down sounds that retain the qualities of improvisational jazz within the parameters of a minimal dance-floor aesthetic.

12:00am: The clock strikes 12 at Neramit

Forest Law joins us in The Fields with a few shows, starting with this special showcase at our beloved home base, featuring fresh decorations for this year’s adventures. 

2:00am: Take a minute to yourself at Enfold

Preferring extended sets and rotary mixers, San Soda crafts cohesive journeys that captivate and energize crowds. While he’s also be playing at Solar Village, we’re excited for his special show at Enfold on day one of Wonderfruit 2024. 

5:00am: Greet every sunrise with tea at Solar Village

Relax and unwind with a soothing cup of Sunrise Tea by POTENT at Solar Village. Join the peaceful moment as you sip on a special blend of adaptogenic mushrooms and calming herbs like chamomile and reishi—perfect to restore balance after a night of celebration.
