Crazy Little People called “Dogs”

To celebrate the Year of the Dog, Gaysorn Village brings from Bangkok to The Fields a creation starring man's best friend by renowned Thai artist, Tavorn Silakunaporn. The whimsical dog bamboo sculptures are inspired by Japanese cartoons and each one is meticulously crafted by time-honored and traditional bamboo weaving techniques from Sangkaburi, Kanchanaburi. This modern take on complex cultural styles, combined with simplistic cultural artisan traditions, creates a striking and playful artistic expression.
