Having an eclectic touch that defines his sets, Gero is the selector that takes you on a musical journey, whether it is a mesmerizing sunset or an endless sunrise.

It all started in his aviation institute years when he played music for friends at house parties. Soon, Gero and his collective, called Discouture, would be hosting and playing at Jakarta’s hippest parties. In 2016, he moved to Bali and together with Dea, they started running Studio Eksotika, a bespoke audiophile records store, where he got to explore his passion for diverse selections from European disco and zouk to Balearic and rare grooves.

The island experience and the exposure to new cultural perspectives inspired him to create a multidisciplinary collective called Pesona, driven mainly by music that impersonates life on the shore. Sharing his love for music throughout the dance floor with his distinctive sets defines his belief that good music is categorized neither by geography nor by language.
