Born in London but now living in Thailand, Mike has been brought up on a mix of musical influences ranging from original R’n’B to soul, disco, reggae, blue beat, ska, Afro-beat and jazz. As time has progressed, so has Mikes' love of all things jazz and soul in terms of music. Influenced by the sounds of Detroit and Philadelphia, he has amassed an extensive collection of music spanning many genres, from US soul, funk, disco and jazz to house music of various types. Also, at the forefront of the original early 80s house music scene in the UK he has worked with many of the top DJs around the world and also had the opportunity to support live acts as diverse as Roy Ayers, Tom Browne, Incognito, Heatwave & Light of the World to acts like Tyree Cooper, Farley ‘Jackmaster’ Funk and Adonis.
