Bio

Print Dancing Club: A Collaborative and Participatory Art project is a project that combines woodcut printmaking with dancing, a social context in which people in a community come together to share happiness, knowledge and it encourages participants and operators to become part of the collaborative work in the model Do It With Other (DIWO). The most important aspect of this activity is the printing and dancing process. In this project, the woodcut printing process will be changed from the manual process into using foot soles. The soles of participants will press and roll onto the prepared workpiece through dancing, and when the music ends, the work is also completed.

The project is carried out by Baan Noorg Collaborative Arts and Culture and Jitr Collective. Baan Noorg Collaborative Arts and Culture is a non-profit, artist-run initiative, a fundamental strategy for community development and a service provider for artistic practice.

JITR Collective is a group of young artists that work with space and the relation between space and humans, focus areas are New-Media, Live Visual, Sound and Installation, physically and virtually. They have been creating art events to improve artistic movements outside Bangkok, aiming to experiment the possibilities of contemporary art and projecting the diversity of contemporary art itself.
