Your Sunday Highlights

18 December 2022 | Wonderfruit

Our time together in The Fields is drawing to a close. Make the most of the days you have left at Wonderfruit 2022 by throwing yourself into Sunday—and don’t forget that we power through to Monday morning.

We have placed a bigger focus on Sunday than ever before, and how we see it, is Monday is the new Sunday.

What’s on

Cuddle a pig and tickle a chicken at Little Fields in Camp Wonder, a hands-on, educational farm experience for kids young and old. While you’re at Camp Wonder, stick around in the shade and see live performances by the little wonders themselves, our young bands.

Polygon doesn’t just come alive at night. At 4pm, swing by for Earth Echo, an immersive, contemplative meditation making full use of the 360º sounds and visuals of the other-worldly stage.

While passing by our lake, spare 20 minutes for Reung Loy. The installation will see Wonderers floating in the middle of the lake, a space that acts as a fluid membrane of water surface, encouraging people to comfortably lie down and immerse in a sound journey of being one with water—both physically and spiritually.

Come and taste the subtle (and not so subtle) flavors, textures and aroma of more than 20 Isan native rice varieties in an Isan Rice Tasting Workshop by Tomogram Studio at noon.

Fans of all wines should find Wine Garage and fill up their cups. Or, pick up a bottle and make some new friends by sharing the experience.

Or, go for a sunset-colored cocktail at Orange Bar where Aperol is celebrating aperitivo moments by the lake—a perfect vantage point for sunset.

Our Wonder Feasts dining experiences might be sold out but Open Kitchen welcomes all to explore regional flavours and generational recipes.

Head to VERTUO Coffee Bar for free Nespresso Sensorial Class. Learn more about the journey of sustainably-sourced coffee, drinking rituals and DIY recipe using the coffee from Reviving Origin project.

Sit in on a Scratch Talk about the past, present and future of psychedelics by Dr William N Wait at 3:20pm. It examines the evolving role of psychedelics, beginning with first-hand anecdotes from the summer of love in the 1960’s, to present day usage, to where it can go in the future.

Unwind to a private collection of rare vinyl played on a Hi-Fi sound system at Jameson from 6:00pm to 2:00am. Paired with whiskey, of course.

Visit Wonderness for a sunset Sircle Dance by Sejal Sood at 5:30pm. Just as in yoga, form is the means of liberation… the same is true for dance. The form takes us into a trance.

Did you notice that Nightmares on Wax is playing? Catch him at Neramit at 8pm.

Referred to as the Hendrix of the Sahara, Vieux Farka Touré is a Malian singer, songwriter and guitarist. His music feeds your soul with desert blues, a vibrant musical genre blazing an emotional trail across North Africa, which he infuses with American blues, rock, jazz, pop and Latin music. Catch him at Creature Stage at 8pm. Penguin Cafe and Pantha du Prince also play for our final night.

Don’t miss a special Sunday evening show at Solar Village by Circle of Live that will unfold as a live jam session with Sebastian Mullaert, Âme, Kai Campos of Mount Kimble and more.

Then, prepare for an extra special Monday morning closing set by DJ Tennis, because we all know that Wonderfruit doesn’t actually end on Sunday, right?
