From the cradle of Kyoto,

let the opening ceremony begin.

Chapters Kyoto is not a place to “show” something,

but a place to awaken to what has always already been there.

Kyoto holds a quietude and a spirit of prayer cultivated over a thousand years.

It does not assert itself strongly; rather, it lives gently within space, within the pauses—the ma—between things.

On the other hand, Wonderfruit in Thailand carries a sense of freedom that

celebrates life,

and an energy that opens people to one another.

When these two meet,

it is not about seeking something outside,

but about touching the richness that already exists within.

We feel that this encounter can give rise to a deeply subtle and profound

experience.

What we hold most important in this project is the sense of myō.

It is not something extraordinary,

but a wordless beauty that quietly appears

in light, in wind, in sound, and in silence.

Over these few days, through music, art, food, and the entire environment,

we have designed a space to encounter this myō.

Not to understand something, but simply to feel.

Not to become something, but to realize what is already present.
