Bardo Illumina

In the space between night and day, Bardo Illumina rises as a ritual of transformation. With Haus of Dimensions, Betty Apple, Kemical Sistas, Yuhina and directed by co-producer of Dhyana, Harry Einhorn, an ensemble from Taiwan’s queer experimental underground and guests from India present an act merging drag, live vocals, DJs and ceremony. Rooted in the Tibetan understanding of bardo, the performance is both meditation on death and celebration of life. Wild costumes and shifting identities blur boundaries of gender and self in a dance toward the clear light within.
