Bring your own camping experience to The Fields by pitching your tent in the heart of General Camping. Come early and pick the perfect spot in one of the many shaded areas, where you’ll rest surrounded by nature. Set up a mini village with your crew or make new friends in this special community of Wonderers.
Campers have access to several conveniences including custom-built communal showers and restrooms, charging and water refill stations, as well as two shaded, open-air lounges. When you’re ready to explore Wonderfruit, you’ll emerge at the quieter parts of The Fields, next to Enfold and Wonder Kitchen. General Camping opens at 4pm on Thursday 3 December 2026.
Tents are not provided in General Camping. You will need to bring your own camping gear.
There are no tents available for rent but you can check other accommodation options that might work better for you.
You can only set up your tent in the designated General Camping village and you'll need a General Camping wristband to enter that village.
Space in the General Camping village is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The General Camping fee covers the costs of facilities within the General Camping village, including areas like dedicated bathrooms, showers and drinking water refill stations.
Know that Wonderfruit entertainment goes until the early hours of the morning and your camping area may be close to loud music, so earplugs may be handy.
Weather can vary throughout the five days, so we recommend keeping your rain cover on your tent, investing in a tarp for extra shade and ensuring your tent is secured against wind gusts by using pegs. The ground can be quite hard in places; bring a mallet or borrow one from a friendly fellow camper.
No, tent trucks or campervans aren't allowed in the area.
