Singing In My Mind

Satit Raksasri, a contemporary artist whose art is rooted in community engagement and environmental activism, revisits his 2018 ‘A Singing Sea’ installation. Once made from discarded materials collected from the beaches and seas of Thailand, it has withstood seven years in The Fields. Embracing the imperfection of modern life, Satit recreates this shelter as a softer gathering space.
Collected fabric off-cuts and found materials are assembled into human and non-human portraits and figures.
