Music for Rest Rooms takes the idea that music and sound have the power to awaken powerful and affirming memories, and in doing so, can create mental and physical spaces of rest and reflection. The five pieces in Music for Rest Rooms are each based on the memory of time spent in a different location near to the remote countryside home of Japanese ambient music icon Yumiko Morioka. Each section is complemented by an aromatic cue.
