We’re inviting all Wonderers to submit your voice to be a part of a live sound and video installation, to be performed at Creature Stage and heard across The Fields at Wonderfruit 2025.
Send us a recording by 5 December 2025 for the opportunity to become a part of Choomchon Constellation: Live. This act was seeded from a project by Sonic Minds, an ongoing collaborative initiative between us and MSCTY.
Over the past few years, Sonic Minds has explored the intersections and connections between Mind and Nature through Sound. We’ve invited people from all walks of life, from spiritual leaders to scientists and musicians, to experiment with how sound might improve our well-being.
Wonderfruit’s tenth edition sees a continuation of this project, with activations that appear all across The Fields in unexpected places—you can read all about them here—as well as live performances with different artists. And for the last night of Wonderfruit (on Sunday 14 December), we join Sonic Minds in marking a Decade of Wonder with a final act: Choomchon Constellation.
This is an open call to all Wonderers to be a part of this live visual and audio installation.
A closing performance by our community, celebrating a Decade of Wonder
‘Choomchon’ in Thai means community or village. Choomchon Constellation is a celebration of our choomchon—our community, our village. It is an audio-video performance that honors the collective we’ve built, of artists and practitioners and chefs and preservers of cultures and Wonderers. It’s an extraordinary village that returns now for the tenth year in a row in celebration of each other, of the many expressions of culture and of the nature that surrounds us.
As part of the Choomchon Sound program for 2025, this Choomchon Constellation is inspired by the collective’s power to create, conjure, harness and utilize new sounds through shared experiences—and how sound, in turn, connects us in one giant constellation.
We’d like you, dear Wonderers, to be a part of this Constellation, alongside Sonic Minds and some of our nearest and dearest collaborators in a collective audio-visual installation.
Here’s what you need to do to become a part of the audio-video installation:
Find a quiet, non-echoey space to record in.
Open the voice recorder app on your phone and press record.
Answer a simple question: “Where do you find wonder?”. Answer however you want to, say whatever springs to mind.
Start by introducing yourself: your name, something brief about who you are.
Try to keep your recording within one minute.
You can email us your recording at info@wonderfruit.co. Or, send your recording by filling out this form. Remember to name your recording something easily identifiable (for example, JoeBloggs-ChoomchoonVoice).
Submit your recording by 5 December 2025 to be a part of this project. Your voice will be heard across The Fields, not just as part of this live audio-video performance but also mixed in with other Sonic Minds activations and projects in the future.
