A brand-new collaboration with anti-algorithm music discovery platform, ROVR

For our milestone tenth edition, we’re collaborating with music discovery platform ROVR both in The Fields and beyond. This project started with a meeting of minds, a shared desire to lead with curiosity and exploration rather than headliners or algorithm-based recommendations. 

The music discovery platform breaks the mold for online music streaming. An innovative, anti-algorithm platform redefines the radio experience by blending cutting-edge technology with traditional crate-digging techniques. Inspired by the spirit of discovery, ROVR radio is curated by quality selectors with timezone selections.

Our collaboration with ROVR extends beyond the borders of The Fields. Starting from 31 October and all the way until the first week of December, artists who will feature at Wonderfruit 2025 are joining the platform’s schedule of visionary selectors. 

No matter where you are in the world, you can tune in at your time zone to hear these takeovers at the following times:

• Friday 31 October at 2pm - Molam World by Maft Sai: A celebration of the rich rhythms and culture of Isaan and beyond

• Sunday 9 November at 4pm -  Sonic Minds by Nick Luscombe: A dialogue between science, art, sound and mindfulness

• Sunday 16 November at 8pm -  ⁠⁠Forbidden Fruit x The Quarry by Ouissam Mokretar: Our naughty boudoir of disco and house meets our subterranean home for raw and edgy rhythms

• Friday 28 November at 2pm -  Dhyana by Black Turtle: The sounds of rituals, ceremonies and community

• Sunday 7 December at 4pm -  Sound of Wonderfruit 2025 by Phuong Le: A taste of a Decade of Wonder, with a mix of artists shaping this year’s soundscape

ROVR is setting up an evolving pirate station in our always-open lounge, Neramit, featuring artists, DJs and selectors from our overlapping worlds. Mornings and afternoons unwind to groovy, blissed-out music, while in the evening, the energy shifts into fuzzy, jazzy transmissions.

If you’re near Neramit, you’ll be able to access a live chat on the ROVR app that is unlocked based on your geolocation, only available during Wonderfruit 2025.

For the first time ever, we’re also working with the ROVR family to stream music from The Fields. Two live acts each day will be selected and live streamed exclusively on the ROVR app.  If you’re unable to join us this year for whatever reason, tune in to hear a range of DJs live and share in the celebration.

Collaborations and takeovers will appear all across The Fields. A curation with ROVR enters the shifting maze of Baan Bardo, providing the soundtrack to late-night celebrations. And at a reimagined SOT, we invite the platform’s selectors to join the sounds and cultures of thriving cityscapes, spanning from hip hop to R’n’B and funk. Expect to hear artists like DJ KOCO aka SHIMOKITA, Free the Robots, Salimata and Pink Siifu.
