The Fields open up as a space for sonic exploration, bringing together musicians and artists across diverse disciplines. Discover voices from around the region and beyond, and experience listening as a way to uncover new ideas, perspectives, and possibilities.
1. Sounds for Deep Listening

When we listen closely, even the smallest sounds have a story to tell. Deep listening is not simply hearing more carefully, but staying with sound from beginning to end, allowing it to unfold in its own time. From the rustling of trees and the flow of a stream to passing footsteps, beautifully composed melodies and music from unfamiliar places, each program invites us to slow down, listen with curiosity, and discover new ways of hearing the world around us.
Sonic Minds
Sonic Minds is an interdisciplinary initiative created by Wonderfruit in collaboration with MSCTY_Studio, bringing together artists, scientists, and other practitioners to explore the relationships between mind, nature and sound. This year, it draws inspiration from the harmonies of the land, history and the natural world, bringing together Thai classical traditions with instrumentalists from Thailand, Japan and beyond.
Art Installations
The Fields offer different ways of engaging with sound. Created in collaboration with sonic artists from across the region and beyond, immersive and experimental installations are woven throughout the landscape, encouraging deeper listening while drawing inspiration from the world around us.
2. Sounds for Ceremonies

Music has long been a way to mark moments of transition, honour tradition and bring people together through shared ritual. Sounds for Ceremonial Listening explores chants, devotional music and ceremonial practices that invite reflection and collective presence. Rooted in spiritual traditions yet open to all, these experiences reveal sound as a pathway to our awareness and transformation.
3. Sounds of Eclectic Live Performances

Music carries the stories of people, places and communities. Sounds of Eclectic Live Performances celebrates artists who draw from cultural traditions to create contemporary expressions rooted in identity and place. From homegrown sounds to global influences, these performances reveal how music continues to evolve while preserving the histories and creative spirit of the communities they come from.
Rooted in Tradition
Over the years, The Fields has revealed how sound carries the richness of culture across places and generations. This year, we expand beyond local and regional boundaries to welcome homegrown sounds from around the world, celebrating traditions shaped by local communities while reminding us that music knows no borders.
4. Sounds for Celebration

Sounds for Celebration brings communities together to mark life’s moments, both ordinary and extraordinary. Through live music, DJs, and collective movement, music becomes a shared language of expression. From intimate performances to open-air dance floors, each gathering becomes a celebration of life, reminding us of the joy of being alive.
Celebration of Diverse Sounds
Across The Fields, every venue has its own sonic identity, with music thoughtfully curated to match the rhythm of the day and the spirit of each space. From raw alternative rock and transcendent psychedelia to house, disco, techno and laid-back ambient, each space invites Wonderers to venture beyond the familiar.
