Two new programs bring cinema and sound into conversation at The Fields, each exploring a different relationship between what we see and what we hear.

At The Quarry, the artistic exploration extends far beyond electronic music, transcending traditional genres and boundaries. While light and visuals expand sensory perception, this is also a space of interaction, where human beings connect with the world through the fullness of their existence.

Black Turtle and Wonderfruit came together for Dhyana Day Dive: Leading with View, a day of exploring Buddhist teachings for everyday life, centered on the practice of using Right View as a guiding principle. Led by Jakob Leschly at The Jataka School.

Nick Dwyer, part documentary filmmaker, full music chaser, on eleven years inside Japan's listening rooms, on how an orchestra of frogs and crickets can move one to tears, and why his films should be seen and heard out loud, in good company, in The Fields this December.

Across three evenings, three venues in The Fields become stages for a dialogue between cinema and sound. Nick Dwyer’s films are paired with live music, each inviting us to see and hear a little differently.

This year, Wonderness returns to the center, inviting us to find the still point within before turning outward.
